Harley’s big news for 2008 was the addition of four new bikes and the availability of anti-lock brakes on touring and V-Rod bikes, a total of 10 models.The FXCW Rocker joined the Softail family as a custom cruiser, and the FXCWC Rocker C variant offered a small, foldaway passenger seat. Also new was the post-war bobber-inspired Softail Cross Bones. The FXDF Fat Bob also joined the Dyna family that year.
The 2008 model year was Harley-Davidson’s 105th anniversary, which they celebrated with a limited-edition trim package available on 14 models, including the Road King Classic.
