Have you received a notice that you’ve won a giveaway from PCH and want to verify whether it’s real? Do you feel like you get too much mail or too many emails from Publishers Clearing House and want to stop? Or maybe you’re trying to help an elderly relative get off PCH’s mailing lists?

This guide will show you how you can reach out to PCH for all of these reasons and more.

What’s the Best Time to Contact PCH?

Publishers Clearing House’s headquarters are located on the east coast, in the state of New York. If you’d like to get a quick response by email, telephone, or live chat, contact them Mondays through Fridays between 8:30 am and 11 pm Eastern Time. They’re also open on Saturdays from 8:30 until 5 pm Eastern. Note that they’re closed on holidays.

The PCH website has a comprehensive list of telephone numbers you can call. Here are a few of the most important:

Contacting PCH about Sweepstakes Scams

Publishers Clearing House’s name is often misused for sweepstakes scams. If you’ve received a win notice and aren’t sure whether it’s legitimate or a scam, PCH has set up a phone number that you can call to check: 1-800-392-4190. (If that number doesn’t work for you, check the PCH Customer Service website for the latest contact information). PCH can give you the definitive answer about whether you’ve really won a prize.

For tips on spotting a scam yourself, check out How to Recognize PCH Scams.

If you prefer not to telephone PCH, you can send questions about potential scams by email to abuse@pch.com. If you receive a scam email, you can forward it to PCH using this contact method, which helps them take action against the scammer.

You can also fill out a Fraud/Scam Incidence Report to help them track current scams.

How to Unsubscribe from PCH Mails or Emails

If you want to unsubscribe from PCH’s emails, use the link at the bottom of any of the emails you received from them.

If that doesn’t work, if you don’t have an email handy, or if you want to unsubscribe from their postal mailing lists, visit PCH’s “Ask Us” contact form, select the “Account Updates” option, then choose the “Remove from Mail/Email” option.

On that form, you can select whether you want to unsubscribe from emails, physical mail, or both.

Note that it takes up to 10 days to be unsubscribed from email lists and six to eight weeks to stop receiving PCH mail altogether. That’s because PCH usually schedules their mailings in advance.

Contact PCH by Mail

If you’d prefer to contact PCH by mail, use the following address:

Want to Change Your Contact Information?

If your contact information has changed and you want to continue to receive opportunities to enter sweepstakes and other special offers from PCH, use their “Ask Us” contact form, select the “Account Updates” option, then pick the “Change of Information” option.

Note that it can take six to eight weeks to update your name, address, or other contact information.

Want to Talk to a PCH Representative Now?

PCH offers a live chat option, which lets you connect to a customer service representative during business hours. Use this option to voice a complaint, get immediate answers to your questions, and more.

Contacting PCH about Product Purchases or Returns:

If you’ve ordered a product from Publishers Clearing House and want to return it, see this page for complete directions: How do I return my Publishers Clearing House merchandise order?

Remember that making a purchase is NEVER required to enter a PCH giveaway and that purchases will in no way affect your chances of winning, so there’s no reason to buy anything you don’t want.

Publishers Clearing House on Social Media

If you’d like to get the latest news about giveaways, prize awards, winning tips, and more, you can follow PCH on social media. You can even follow along with the Prize Patrol as they surprise their big winners, get warnings about current scams, and much more. Here are some of PCH’s social media accounts to check out:

  • PCH on Facebook
  • PCH on Twitter
  • PCH on Instagram
  • PCH on YouTube

There are lots of fun and heartwarming stories from real PCH winners on these social media channels.

However, be sure that you are following only official PCH accounts on social media. Fake Facebook page scams were such a problem for PCH that they shut down individual social media accounts for their Prize Patrol members. So do not try to contact Prize Patrol members directly through social media, and be very wary of any requests you get from accounts pretending to be from them.

Important Tip

Remember, PCH never sends friend requests over social media, nor do they use social media to notify people of any major prize wins.
