Left 4 Dead is a cooperative, first-person shooter developed and published by Valve. It first launched on PC, Xbox 360, and Mac OS in 2008. Set in the aftermath of a zombie outbreak, it tasks up to four players (the Survivors) with fending off hordes of undead (the Infected) as they make their way to safety in various game modes.
